For some time now, I have always felt that I need to work hard at being available for any opportunity that may present itself during my time of unemployment. No matter what the duration of the position (one day, six months, or a year…) I’ve always wanted to get my resume out there just in case a potential call comes in for a new job. During my many years on the job hunt, I was able to understand the benefits of having a resume searchable online. It became imperative to keep it updated with every new skill set and certifications.

Now before I began, I want to state the obvious, I am not a recruiter, a consultant, or even a successful blogger. I’m just a guy sitting in front of his laptop, typing away, hoping someone will read me….(don’t judge me, “Notting Hill” is playing in the background and my wife has the remote).  So, with that being said, here are some tips based on my recent experience that enhanced my exposure to more employment opportunities.
